https://www.raz-kids.com/ Raz kids has been set up for each student to begin using. Please log on and have fun reading, and playing educational games. Teacher: Lesya Marie Stocki- ocsb (lstocki) "Students can access award-winning digital content through Kids A-Z, Learning A-Z's eLearning and online student management portal, which delivers the digital versions of various Learning A-Z products, including Raz-Plus, Raz-Kids, Science A-Z, and Headsprout, anywhere your students have an Internet connection." Similar to the "snuggle up and read program", students can read level books online and progression of learning is documented. We will be conducting simple and fun science experiments. Our students make their own homemade play dough and inquiry science projects. We would appreciate any donations of: flour, cream of tartar, vegetable oil, baking soda, vinegar and food colouring. We will have parent volunteers throughout the year for art and science in the school. Thanks again for all of your support and working together to make our classroom a wonderful learning environment. On the first day of school our SKs were proudly working hard in their new role. 👍🏼 Our JKs had a wonderful first week meeting new friends and getting into a new school routine. Our class took a vote and decided to name our new class pet (our TURTLE) "Batman". He proudly won the name by 4 additional votes. Students posted a math tally chart to display our voting results. He will be joining our classroom for the year and keeping "Peanut butter and Jelly" our class frog company.
